Volunteer Task Descriptions

Set Up
  1. Check in with supervisor
  2. Hang banners and signage
  3. Help set up stage
  4. Help mark fields
  1. Pop-up tents
  2. Have fun
  3. At end of shift:
    • Check in with supervisor
Kite Maker
  1. Check in with supervisor
  2. Set up tables
  3. Hang signage
  4. Set up assembly stations
  5. Put out materials
  6. Cut and hang kite tails
  1. Learn to make kites
  2. Make kites for kids
  3. Have fun
  4. At end of shift:
    • Greet replacement
    • Check in with supervisor
Field Monitor
  1. Check in with supervisor
  2. Stand at field entrances
  3. Let in performers only
  4. Have fun
  1. At end of shift:
    • Greet replacement
    • Check in with supervisor
Jumpy Rides
  1. Check in with supervisor
  2. Stand at ride entrances
  3. Take tickets & let kids on rides
  4. Set timer for 5 minutes
  5. Usher kids out of rides
  1. Check rides for lost items
  2. Repeat steps 3 through 7
  3. At end of shift:
    • Greet replacement
    • Check in with supervisor
Take Down
  1. Check in with supervisor
  2. Remove banners
  3. Break down stage
  4. Remove field markers
  1. Check field for debris
  2. Have fun
  3. At end of shift:
    • Check in with supervisor
